Sadek Kahil Arrested, Then Tortured

Sadek Kahil, a Kabyle citizen from the city Ath Zemenzer, was arrested in his home by the Algerian police forces. Currently, he's enduring horrendous torture at police department of the Chabanes in Tizi-Ouzou after he shard a Facebook Post.

KHR organization denounces this arbitrary arrest. It is deeply concerned and anguished about Sadek Kahil’s physical and mental health after his brutal arrest.

Freedom of speech should not be persecuted, it is rather a universal human right for any citizen.

We call on the Algerian military junta to immediately drop any charges against Mr. Kahil and release him from custody.
