KHR Organization is Calling Cherif Mellal to Stop his Hunger Strike

Given the desperate action taken by Cherif Mellal to pursue a hunger strike as a protest for his unfair trial and incarceration by the Algerian authorities. KHR organization is urging Cherif Mellal to end immediately his hunger strike because his initiative is putting highly risks on his heath, and we strongly  fear that the same scenario that happened to Kamel Eddine Fakhar will happen to him again.

Algeria is a notorious dictatorship, it is violating fundamental human rights on a daily basis, thus we recommend to his attorney, family and relatives to forward him our organization's call.
