Sadek Kahil Is Condemned to 3 Years Prison Despite His Trial Appeal

Sadek Kahil is  officially condemned to 3 years sentence, he’s currently  incarcerated in the Tizi Wuzu prison for sharing a facebook post.

To contest his  arbitrary verdict, he introduced 2 trials appeal in vain, the first on January 8th , 2026, the second, on  February 8th, 2026.

Freedom of speech is not an offense, it is a fundamental human right principle that was enshrined in the  Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

KHR organization is very alarmed about the erosion of freedom of speech in Algeria, and demands the Algerian military regime to uphold its commitments under international laws and treaties.
