 Re: French sanctions against the Algerian officials

Honorable President Emanuel Macron,

KHR Organization welcomes the targeted measures your government has taken against members of the Algerian oligarchy, particularly the revocation of diplomatic passport privileges previously extended to Algerian officials, their families, and close associates. However, we encourage the implementation of additional sanctions—most notably, the freezing of assets belonging to this ruling elite. These individuals bear direct responsibility for ongoing human rights violations in Algeria, including the arbitrary imprisonment of hundreds of Kabyle citizens, Boulem Sansal, Olivier Gleizes and many others.
