Today, January 21 st , 2026, a Christian man in Kabylia, named Ahcene Cheikh, was arrested in Tala Athmane by the Algerian police forces. We believe that his detention is probably due to his faith. We know since 2017 that several evangelical churches have been closed, and many worshippers are being discriminated because of their faith.
